Barbadian Lisle Austin, suspended two weeks ago after he took over as CONCACAF’s acting president, now wants to fill Austin “Jack” Warner’s boots.
Following Warner’s announcement yesterday that he had quit all roles with FIFA, football’s world governing body, Austin told the DAILY NATION he was ready to take over.
“I think you could say with my 20 years experience I could bring about stability and would want to have a clear vision of the operations, especially in the region,” he said.
Austin also commented about his suspension and said he would pursue all legal means to clear his name.
