Police last night captured the man wanted in connection with the death of Notoya Ewers of Gemswick, St Philip who was killed on Saturday night.
The man subsequently died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
A police statement today noted that Anthony Michael Searles, 44, also of Gemswick, St. Philip, was held at a house at Wotton, Christ Church about 7.45 pm.
The man had informed law officials that he had ingested a poisonous substance.
He was immediately taken to hospital by the police where he died about 11.40pm. (PR)
