More than 100 local, regional and international golfers converged at the challenging Royal Westmoreland course last weekend for the prestigious 2011 United Insurance Barbados Golf Open.
They had to defy torrential rains and heavy conditions over the three days, but after 54 holes Barbadian James Johnson won the men’s title for the tenth time while Antiguan Kimesha Anthony took the women’s title.
Anthony, seen here executing a drive, was in fine form, with a gross score of 228.
