Chanderpaul gone

BRIDGETOWN – West Indies, resuming from 98 for five overnight after play started an hour late, progressed to 138 for six at lunch against India on the third day of the second Digicel cricket Test here today.
The Windies lost the key wicket of Shivnarine Chanderpaul for 37, bowled off the bottom edge by fast bowler Abhi Muntin.
After the lunch interval, the West Indies lost two more wickets.
Wicket-keeper Carlton Baugh was caught at first slip by Rahul Dravid for just two off Harhbajan Singh and captain Darren Sammy was leg before wicket to pacer Ishant Sharma for 15.
Marlon Samuels, who brought up his 50 in 197 minutes off 136 balls with five fours, has moved on to 77 not out with the West Indies on 189 for eight in reply to India’s first innings score of 201 when rain stopped play at 1:55 p.m. (EZS)
