Rain jam

SOME SHOWERS and, possibly, thundershowers are likely during the early part of today but meteorologists at the Grantley Adams International Airport have indicated that there will be some improvement in the weather later in the day.
This follows downpours in northern Barbados yesterday, with the southern part reporting less rain after a tropical wave passed to the north of the island.
In St Michael the downpour recorded in some districts had a telling impact.
