CARRIE-LYN CARRIE G GRAZETTE and Samantha Sammy G Greaves are the new Scotiabank Junior Calypso champions.
Carrie G, a firsttimer to the competition, swept the field in the eight to 12 competition with 425 points. She beat Jazz-Z into second and Confetti into third.
One point separated Sammy G from her nearest rival Mandisa in the 13 to 18 category.. She scored 432 points. Dijah landed third with 423 points.
The Junior Monarch competition was held last night at the Wildey Gymnasium. (YB)
