LIAT cancels flights to Grenada

Industrial action at the Maurice Bishop International Airport (MBIA) in Grenada forced the cancellation of flights to and from that destination today.
The airline’s Manager of Corporate Communications Desmond Brown said the flights affected were LI 761/760; LI 304; LI 727 and LI726.
In a release earlier today, Brown said customers booked to travel today can rebook for a later date without charge.
“LIAT’s management is seeking to work with the Technical and Allied Workers Union which represent the workers, employees and the Grenada Government to bring a speedy resolution to this matter” the release added.
The airline apologised to affected passengers for the inconvenience due to the actioni by Grenada employees. (PR)
