While Renee Ratcliffe copped the Large Band Of The Year prize, veteran designer Gwyneth Squires took two other major awards in yesterday’s wet climax to Crop Over.
Squires was named Festival Designer Of The Year as well as having the Best Band On The Road. Her flagbearer, David Dee Dee Winston, copped Best Flagperson.
Traditional rival Betty West’s The Old Bajan Remedies was first in the Traditional category.
