The Barbados Cadet Corps is pushing cadet tourism.
And they have been doing it for the past five years, through the establishment of an International Cadet Challenge Camp (ICCC).
The camp, which is focused on physical, psychological and social competitions, attracts dozens of cadets from regional and international countries to the island every other year.
When the MIDWEEK NATION visited the camp at Paragon military base in Christ Church, Major Patrick Skeete, one of the organizers, said the local corps was committed to playing its role in promoting Barbados’ tourism product.
