Vendors cry over bad sales

Vendors this year are complaining about severe losses after Grand Kadooment.
But these losses cannot be described as just water under the bridge, as many are left with cases of drinks on their hands after sales for that commodity were down.
O’neal Collymore, who sold no more than six of the 15 cases of Banks beer he had, described this year as the absolute worse for sales.  
Collymore, who has been selling on Spring Garden for the past four years, believes that because people heard that a tropical wave was approaching the island many of them did not leave home.
He said:“The people who did come out did not buy a lot of drinks or water because it was not hot and sunny. If the rain keeping people cool the drinks will not sell,” he said.
