BNB?St Catherine all-rounder Kenroy Williams seems to love batting against Sagicor UWI.
The slim right-hander continued his good form this season, following up a century against them last year with 85 yesterday at the 3Ws Oval.
After St Catherine lost two early wickets, Williams joined forces with former Barbados bowler Dayne Maynard who also scored 85. The pair had a combined stand of 134 runs. They scored 55 in the first instance, but Williams retired after feeling ill, then came back to add another 79 with Maynard after
Ahmed Proverbs went cheaply.Williams defied UWI spin twins Ryan Austin and Kavesh Kantasingh to send another message to the selectors. One of the five Cave Shepherd Players Of The Year for 2010, he was overlooked by the national selectors and will be hoping for better fortune this year.
Here, Williams is stroking a four during his knock of 85. (SAT)
