THE PROBLEMS of low-budget airline REDjet are continuing.
But officials say regular services should resume by Wednesday.
Yesterday, for the third time in five days, REDjet was forced to cancel flights because of problems with the aircraft. Passengers turned up at the Grantley Adams International Airport again to learn that the flight to Guyana had been cancelled.
Communication executive Nyssa Pierre told the DAILY NATION yesterday that the company was working closely with the Barbados Civil Aviation Department to bring on a charter flight, which would cover the Guyana, Trinidad and Barbados routes until REDjet’s aircraft, which has been down with hydraulic problems, was back in operation.
