Marriage not on my mind

Dear Christine,
HOW can I tell a young lady I have been dating for the past three months, that I do not love her enough to marry her?
I have to do something quickly, as she keeps dropping hints about marriage. I know this is what she is expecting. What do I do?

You can tell her nothing but the truth. Make sure you talk to her in a loving way and with the right attitude.
If you knew from the start that she was not “the one”, shouldn’t you have told her in the first place that you were not looking for a wife, but just a friend?
Too often couples become sexually involved very early in a relationship and one of them expects a serious level of commitment. This may not be so in your case, but did you make any false promises or suggestions to make her think that you wanted her as your wife? If you did, you’ll have to apologise to her.
 I think also that three months is not enough time to get to really know someone.
The sooner you tell her you’re not ready for marriage the better, but don’t expect her to stick around when you do.
