Work is right on schedule and progressing smoothly on The Villages at Coverley, Christ Church.
Already 250 homes have been sold and nearly 100 homeowners have moved into the luxury housing village, which offers residents all the necessary amenities to cater to their every need.
Four hundred of the 1 026 homes have been completed, and Mark Maloney, managing director of Housing Concepts SRL, the developers at Coverley, told the DAILY NATION construction of the town square was right on target.
A trip to Christ Church revealed that substantial development had taken place in the town square since its launch months ago, with the medical suite, restaurants, the first of the commercial areas for boutiques, the pavilion, day care, nursery and preschool all at advanced stages.
Groundwork was also in progress for the supermarket.
Already three of the four playgrounds are finished, with the other to be completed by this weekend.
A chauffeured tour of the facility was just one of the daily activities for those seeking to view and purchase homes. Maloney noted an average of ten to 15 people had been passing through during the week and even more on weekends to view the four different types of show houses.
Maloney said some of the businesses in the town square were scheduled to open by the end of September, noting that those living in the lifestyle community would have first option of occupying the businesses in the town square.
“So far the reviews from those who have moved in have been very positive. Most of the homeowners and those looking have been very receptive to the lifestyle community, and there have been very few negatives,” he said.
One anonymous resident who was hurrying to go to work said she and her fiancé had moved in a little over a month ago and had settled in quite well. She said so far she had experienced no problems and was quite happy. (CT)
