Choices explained

Barbados’ youth are being encouraged to make good choices always, while maintaining the mindset that every choice has a consequence – whether positive or negative.
The advice came from a believer in the good of youth, and one of their strongest supporters, Combermere School principal Vere Parris. He was delivering the feature address at St Leonard’s Church in Westbury Road yesterday on Student Recognition Day.
Speaking on Making Choices, Parris told the youth that there were two overriding ones in life: the choice to be and the choice to do.
He reminded parents that because they were their children’s first teachers, they were the ones who must teach them to be.
