IT WAS A close call for a 19-year-old man and his 25-year-old female friend yesterday when a van ran off the road and into the bedroom of the house they occupied on the corner of Perfection Road and Military Road, Bush Hall, St Michael around 1:40 p.m.
Head of the house Dawn Magloire told the DAILY NATION that while at work, she received a call informing her that a van had run into her house and urging her to get home immediately.
“When I got here, I saw a van inside the house and a lot of things inside the house damaged. The TV, computer, my DVD, the bed and cupboards in the kitchen [were] damaged,” Magloire said.
