Andrew Hinds, the fastest man in the country and the only Barbadian to get a semi-final berth at last month’s World Track & Field Championships, says there are still athletes who are beating the drug tests.
Hinds told the DAILY?NATION cheating athletes were still winning the battle with the World Anti-Doping Agency.
“I can’t really say who is clean and who is not, but to be honest, not every one is clean. I believe there are drugs out there that can’t really be detected. There are still people in the sprints and other events beating the tests,” he said.
Hinds said that all phenomenal times did not necessarily mean the use of performance enhancing drugs.
