Ladies, if you have a man who treats you like a queen, please don’t ever leave him for a sweet-talking man with only a handsome face. That is what happened to me:
I left 80 per cent for 20 per cent.
I was very happy with my boyfriend and then I changed jobs. That’s where I met my husband from hell.
He said from the time he saw me he just followed me because I was so beautiful. But I did not want to get involved with anyone as I was really happy with my boyfriend at the time.
However, this man pursued me in every way. He invited me out so many times but all I gave him were big rocks and promises. Then one day I decided to go out with him. That was when all things started to change.
The sex was so damn good.
I had never experienced anything like that in my life. I wanted it all the time because the feeling was great.
This man (who eventually became my husband) and I even went overseas for a weekend just so we could be together. My boyfriend dropped me to the airport but he did not know this man at that time.
After horning my boyfriend for over a year, I decided to end that relationship. It broke his heart, but all I could think about was the great sex and how much more I wanted.
This man had a girlfriend at the time, and I removed her from the picture. As time passed he moved in with me as I already had a house and he did not have one.
By now my ex-boyfriend, who lived close by and whom I saw sometimes, found a new girlfriend. I was happy for him. He later went overseas and started his own little family. When I heard that he was going to get married to his new girlfriend, I decided to get married too, as my man had been asking me for awhile. I had little idea what I was getting myself into.
From day one my husband horned me left, right and centre. He was very selfish, could not cook and was very lazy. I had all of the housework to do with very little help as he was always out or at work. I was so tired afterwards that I was now unable to have sex like before. My previous boyfriend used to help me with the housework.
So I was married, but was paying the mortgage, a bank loan, the majority of the household bills and supporting myself. My husband paid only two bills.
My husband then got involved with his boss. He told her many horrible things about me, and when we eventually spoke she told me she always wanted to meet “the animal” that he had married.
Eventually she told me all the nasty things he told her about me. She said she did not find that I was the kind of person he was describing.
As our friendship grew she admitted she had been involved with him and wanted me to know because we had become very close and she did not want to hide it anymore. My husband hit the roof went I confronted him. From then he hated her in every possible way but I refused to stop talking to her.
That’s when she told me everything he had said about me. He told her that many of his friends did not come to our wedding because they did not approve of the way I treated him. These were his friends that I hardly knew, so all the time he was walking about telling them how bad I treated him, so they hated me and I never knew the reason why. He also did this with his mother and daughter.
I really cannot blame them for hating me but I knew I was a very good wife to him and they never got a chance to know me. I knew I was not perfect and I had my faults, but he got treated like a king. If he saw any of my friends in the street he would want to talk all of our business with them, but they always came back and told me what he said.
Despite this, I continued to be the submissive wife. Every time we had a quarrel he would run home to discuss all of our business with his daughter and mother, and I was never able to defend myself. What he said was gospel, so they hated me from the beginning.
He told me that he only got involved with women when he moved out of our home, (he moved out more than six times) So I knew how many horns I got. We only spent one wedding anniversary together as every year he would break up with me. (We were married for four years). So he would go with his women.
One day I took up his cellphone and saw many text messages from three women he was involved with. The things I read in some of those texts blew my mind. He did to them all the things which I thought he only did to me. That really hurt me.
Yet I stayed with him. When he came back again, we had sex with protection until we were both tested for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
For a year after that he was the perfect husband and I started to enjoy being with him again. Then he got up one morning and told me he was leaving to go and complete a project. I swear it was someone different. I could not understand him. That’s when he became mean and told me some hurtful things.
What happened hit me like a ton of bricks. Had it not been for the support of my friends and family I would have ended up in the Psychiatric Hospital.
He went back to his mother’s place, where he always said he was going. I never called there for him as I never felt welcome and had no relationship with his family. After two months he began texting me, telling me how sorry he was. Though I was still his wife, and we had said for better or worse, I had had enough. Imagine this: he had even sold his wedding band.
My former boyfriend was back home and he and his wife had split. When he saw the hurt in my eyes and noticed that my husband was no longer there, he started to come around again. He never mentioned anything that I did to him. We just picked up from where we left off.
After my divorce was final my former boyfriend proposed to me and we finally got married. We just celebrated another wedding anniversary with all the love and happiness I could ever want. As for my former husband, he is still trying to get his life together. Poor soul.
