POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING a racket involving the theft of several thousands of dollars from VLT Lottery operators Inc. Cage Barbados.
Reports indicated yesterday lawmen had already taken a man and a woman into custody and were on the hunt for others.
The scam from the business, which operates the video lottery machines across the island, is believed to involve several forged cheques from the Warrens, St Michael-based company.
Efforts to reach chief executive officer Dentonia Brewster for comment yesterday proved futile. (TS)
