A new ice cream became the hit in Bridgetown yesterday as some of Barbados’ young entrepreneurs showed of their business acumen.
Yesterday’s event in Heroes Square was the climax of a business laboratory project as part of the Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES), in which groups had six days to come up with a marketable business plan and put it into motion.
Juanne Odle, the brains behind the product, said the ice cream, in two flavours – mango and coconut – was derived from her current drink business, and contained linseed, oats, barley and soya milk. (CA)
