The Art Collectors Association of Barbados honoured late Barbadian artist Oliver Burnett recently, mounting a two-week exhibition of his work at the Errol Barrow Centre For Creative Imagination.
Friends, family and fellow artists were there for the cocktail reception marking the official opening and listened with rapt attention as tribute was paid to the self-taught artist known for his remarkable landscapes.
His son Trevor expressed appreciation to the association for remembering his father, adding he was pleased that fellow artists had chosen to organize such an exhibition to highlight the work of Burnett, who passed away last November.
