On murder charge

POLICE yesterday charged a 50-year-old St John resident, Michael Antonio Greenidge, with a 2010 murder on a farm where he worked.
Greenidge, of Lovell Road, Massiah Street, was charged with the murder of farmer George Clarke, 67, of Sanford Development, St Philip, on November 18, 2010, according to police public relations officer Inspector David Welch.
Clarke was found with serious injuries on his farm on February 14 last year. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and later flown to the United States for treatment.
He died in the United States on November 18. (TY)
