Drivers at the Transport Board want the brakes slammed on the installation of cameras on the buses which are recording their every move.
Angry drivers told the SATURDAY?SUN that cameras were installed in some buses three weeks ago, which were focused directly on the drivers.
“There have been allegations of missing money, and the Transport Board has installed cameras which are focused on the drivers. We believe that this is an infringement of our rights,” said a spokesman for the drivers.
He explained that until recently cameras were installed on some of the buses, but they were located behind the driver and were focused on the passengers only. (MB)
