FLYING FISH & COU COU – Victim living in denial

THE QUESTION in law enforcement circles is why a certain person has denied knowledge of a robbery, when they are aware it happened.
The lawmen are saying this person should not be ashamed of what happened, as these days anything could happen to anyone.
They want this person to tell their friends and colleagues how come they have a new cellphone among other items they normally are seen with.
They want this individual to realize not talking about something like this does not help the police, for as long as a crime is not reported they cannot investigate. And that means the perpetrators can walk away.
 
Low-keyed event
PEOPLE WANT to know if a certain event has the full blessing of all the big boys.
They’re asking why there was no stellar cast to get it going like a similar one. And they want to know how come the senior person in this activity has not come out robustly to promote it as a good thing as was done with the other one. 
What these observers want to know is whether this senior person is acting in this way because he feels that the money given to make this event happen would have been better spent upgrading a certain venue?
They are wondering too if another senior person has not warmed to it as he would normally be expected to, because he and his people were not convinced that this was something worth investing in at this time.
From what Cou cou is being told, the response to the event is certainly not what was expected, but they say that is what you get from copying ideas without putting the structure in place to make them better than the original.
 
New pick in works
A CERTAIN man will soon be bobbing and weaving his way through the treacherous Caribbean waters seeking to resolve disputes and harmonise relations.
Cou cou understands thatthis man, who is no stranger to protest, has been given the nod for a big pick that will see him flying hither, thither and yond for this country.
No one is quite sure why he has been given the nod, but insiders are saying his close association with the ocean throughout his life and his ability to solve disputes, make him an ideal candidate to solve an ongoing disagreement.
We shall soon see how well he can trade in his new job for his old vocation.
 
Still unsure
A PARTICULAR MAN seems scared to make a decision. He has to decide if he will run a big race again, or if he will sit it out.
Having won on a couple of occasions, then lost, he is not sure if he can muster the fortitude to run again and risk losing, as he can’t stand losing.
For that he is knocking on wood, hoping for the best if he does decide to go it again.
Normally such procrastination would be understandable, but the problem here is that he is stopping another runner on his side from showing what she can do.
And because he is the first in line, she can’t go out on the track to train. Hence, there is a lot of moaning in the particular camp. Maybe the boss man will have to intervene to solve this one.
