BL&P vigil for Patrina

THE MOOD at the Barbados Light & Power (BL&P) was sombre and meditative yesterday morning as staff members gathered to participate in a prayer vigil for Patrina Lord.
Lord, whose body was found on Monday night in a grassy area in Content, St Thomas, was the daughter of Clovena Thorpe, who along with stepfather Roger Thorpe, is employed at BL&P.
The 31-year-old was also employed at the Bay Street company for a short time.
With a picture of Lord displayed on a projection screen, members of the Kilowatt family assembled in the Kilowatt Court to pray, sing hymns of adoration and listen to a sermon and words of encouragement.(AH)
