HEAVY RAINFALL today left people in some parts of the island struggling with flood waters.
Director of the Department of Emergency Management Judy Thomas, however, assured Barbadians there was no cause for alarm.
A check with the Meteorological Office revealed Barbados was currently being affected by a low-level trough, something which was reported to be usual for this time of year.
The office reported up to 15.6 mm of rainfall at the airport by 2 p.m. todaybut said no official flood warnings had been issued.
However, it is predicted that the weather conditions will continue tomorrow. (CA)
