While millions of families unite for a Thanksgiving feast today (Nov. 24), Rihanna is celebrating the essence of family togetherness in her own way by giving fans an intimate look inside her home in Barbados. The 23-year-old ‘Talk That Talk’ creator stripped down to the bare essentials — she wears no makeup and sports a simple black dress — while sitting with her mother, grandmother and younger brother Rajad in her quaint home. In the clip, narrated by Jay-Z , Ri sifts through old photographs of her family and even checks out a report card from her days in grade school — from the looks of it, grades of A were splashed across the paper. “These are the people who make you who you are,” Hov states while the ‘We Found Love’ performer sits next to her Gran Gran. “They’ve helped you grow. They’re responsible for the countless lessons in life that you’ve learned. It’s the memories of who you were that make ’em proud to see what you’ve become.” During the visuals, Rihanna’s mother showcases her parental opinion about Rajad’s Facebook use, which causes the pop star to giggle in a corner. The Bajan songstress also gifts her Gran Gran with a sentimental token of appreciation from Cartier.
