Jobs upgrade

THE POST of Chief Town Planner is among several top spots in Government getting upgrades and  salary hikes.
The changes, which are expected to cost Government more than $220 000 yearly, were announced by Prime Minister Freundel Stuart in the House of Assembly yesterday.
Stuart said they were the outcome of an evaluation of posts which were not covered in a 2005 public service job-regrading exercise.
Chief Town Planner has been reclassified S2 from S3, with the salary moving from $121 349 to $135 023, according to Government’s Schedule of Personal Emoluments. (TY)
