Owen rains on parade

BARBADIANS WILL NOT see or hear the Leader of the Opposition’s Independence Day message on the state-owned Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) today.
They will also not see or hear a Christmas message from him on CBC in a few weeks time.
That’s because Arthur has boycotted the CBC claiming they have disrespected his Barbados Labour Party (BLP).
In a letter dated November 17 and signed by CBC acting general manager Rodwell London, Arthur was invited to record messages for broadcast on radio and television for Independence and Christmas Day. (SP)
