Tennis is back pon de rock.
And so is another Williams sister.
Two years after welcoming younger sibling Serena to these shores, Barbadians opened their arms once again to another member of tennis’ royal family yesterday after Venus touched down at the Grantley Adams International Airport.
The featured attraction of this weekend’s Tennis Pon de Rock festival, the 31-year-old seven-time Grand Slam winner was more than eager to make the trip after being regaled with tales of Barbados’ renowned hospitality by Serena. (JM)
