There is an old man from a certain parish who is so infatuated with a young woman that he went to the limits to get her a visa so that she could travel to the United States.
He not only lied on the application and stated that she worked at a business to which he was connected when, in fact, she has never worked a day in her life, but he also put substantial monies on her bank account that she could use as proof of savings.
People in the close-knit neighbourhood were laughing at the old man because while he is no longer able to rise to the occasion, he delights in getting down low, especially when he in on the receiving end.
The woman recently returned from her valuable trip, and people have been asking the old man if he is not afraid that he might end up in prison.
Guess he is not worried about that. For the time being he is just happy and contented to be at Dawson’s Creek.
Eight years and counting
Maybe this Christmas the men in The Pine will finally receive the money that was supposed to be returned to them by their boss – eight years ago.
Apparently, eight years ago these hard-working men were charged for various “accidents” and had sums of money docked from their wages to pay for the damages. But the union stepped in and deemed that the charges were unfair and demanded that all the money, which ranged between $700 and $1 500, should be returned to the workers.
The men are still waiting. They want to know if at the end of the day they will get interest added on to the money that they should have received so long ago.
No class at all
A well-known woman who classifies herself as chic and classy has no standards when it comes to men.
This Saturday girl is utilizing her big asset to get ahead in life. People who know and those who have heard about this mature clerk are not surprised that she unashamedly seduces men (both young and old) including Rastamen, cash cows and even married men.
This home wrecker, who is no beauty, needs to start having some respect for herself. Men are bedding her just for the fun of it, while her sole purpose is sleeping around for money.
She should be mature enough to know that such reckless living will come back to haunt her.
Bad example from bosses
Management at a certain health institution are always spouting about professionalism and respect – but don’t they realize that it goes both ways?
How are junior staff expected to behave when the seniors conduct themselves in ways that are questionable and far from transparent?
Who should the staff trust when stories keep being changed and the buck is always passed onto those who are not present. Nobody wants to stand up and take responsibility?
Maybe this place is in need of a good dose of truth, pills of accountability and cleansing.
Two malicious
Two malicious and dangerous women, who are the best of friends and partners-in-crime, should stop deceiving a certain security guard into believing that they are her friends.
They laugh in her face, but behind her back they talk bad things about her and drag her name into the gutter.
Right now she does not know why her neighbours keep cutting their eyes and dropping remarks at her, but it is all because of her two friends – the one who has the man who works at Sanitation and the brown-skinned one who is a cook.
