Candles and carols at Ilaro

This evening thousands of candles set Ilaro Court aglow as Barbadians celebrated the birth of Jesus with popular songs of the season.
Armed with their blankets and chairs families in some cases used the 16th annual Carols by Candlelight to bond and enjoy a magical evening out.
They were treated to music from spme of the best Barbados voices in the country including Paula Hinds, Alison Hinds and Tamara Marshall.
Headlining this year’s show was Sir Cliff Richard. (YB)
