Four more records fell on the final night of the 2011 Cave Shepherd & Co. Ltd Short Course National Swimming Championships at the Aquatic Centre.
Danielle Titus wrapped up a tremendous six days of swimming with her seventh record. Already in possession of the Girls’ 8-and-under mark of 32.79 seconds in the 50 free scm (short course), she lowered the time to 32.50 seconds, a full second faster than Ashley Weekes (33.74).
In the Boys’ 9-to-10 age group, it was Jack Kirby tasting sweet victory over Damon St Prix in the 200M IM. Kirby touched the wall in 2 minutes, 36.46 seconds, and in the process erased St Prix’s 2:36.60 set this year.
St Prix was second in 2:37.78, but was later named the Most Outstanding Junior Male swimmer, with 62 points, 11 quadruple “A” times and one triple “A” time from 12 events. He also set five age group records.
Zabrina Holder, the Most Outstanding Senior Female swimmer, raced to her fifth record with a time of 27.50 seconds in the Girls’ 13-to-14 event, down from the 27.79 she set last year.

Holder took the top title among the senior girls after scoring 3 217 points, and claiming two women’s open national records among her feats.
The final record went to Amara Gibbs in the 50M back time trial, posting 31.09 seconds.
The title of Most Outstanding Junior Female went to Kendi Bynoe in the Girls’ 9-to10-age group with 48 points, nine quadruple “A” times and three triple “A” times to go along with one record.
