The People’s Empowerment Party (PEP) has said Prime Minister Freundel Stuart should sack some of his Cabinet ministers.
PEP, led by David Comissiong, was commenting on the drafting of a letter by some Members of Parliament, requesting an urgent meeting with Stuart to discuss perceived leadership weaknesses.
“They must all be sent to the back benches and their Cabinet position given to loyal supporters of Prime Minister Stuart,” PEP said in a Press release.
It was essential that Stuart dealt with the blatant undemocratic position taken by some members of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP).
PEP said the Prime Minister should act deliberately and swiftly “to put Barbados on a path towards improved people democracy.”
