Prison hampers leaner this year

FAMILIES receiving food hampers from the Prison Fellowship of Barbados may find them a little leaner this year.
The fellowship’s head, who has requested to be called just Servant Thomas Watts, said this was because a major donor to the food bank had not contributed this Christmas season.
He made the disclosure yesterday while speaking to the media when Scotiabank presented wrapped gifts to the fellowship for children during a ceremony at the bank’s Warrens branch.
He told reporters a limited amount of food will have to be shared among 700 to 800 hampers. (AH)
