WORKERS in a small Government department are upset that a certain woman, who was the prime suspect in the disappearance of thousands of dollars, was transferred to their department.
Since arriving, this woman has been behaving like a wannabe diva. She sits at her desk, rocking back with her feet up on a chair and all she does is talk about sex.
Since the Christmas season kicked in, she has been leaving the office for several hours, only to return with her hands laden with parcels.
This is the third time that money has gone missing from an office where she worked, and people are beginning to ask if she is so invincible that she cannot be prosecuted.
They are saying that her close affiliation with the boss has definitely paid off and apart from getting off scot-free, she no longer has to make a meaningful contribution to work.
Her colleagues are registering their feelings. They want this light-fingered woman removed by the new year and the worker who was transferred to accommodate her returned to the office or else they will take drastic action.
Cry of racism
Since a certain company was sold off everything seems to be going downhill.
Workers are upset at the way they are being treated, and they also believe that some of their bosses may be racists since they are always crying down the black workers.
Since they took over, a number of the employees, especially those with many years of service, have been sent home – only to be replaced.
The remaining workers want to know how Government and the Immigration Department can allow this situation to persist.
They say the name change too has certainly resulted in a huge failure. And while the commodities may be cheaper, the work environment has become poorer.
Mum not pulling weight
A MAN is appealing to his child’s mother to stop treating his child unfairly and be a good role model for her children.
The two are no longer involved, but that has never stopped him from supporting his only child, whom he loves dearly.
According to those in the know, things soured between the two after the child complained to his father that the mother, who has two other children from other relationships, has not been adequately providing for him despite the money the man gives.
The youth complained to his father that his mother normally gave him very little to eat. Instead, she spreads all of the money meant for him to cover the two other children as well, as their fathers don’t support them. She also feeds the new boyfriend she has, and he does not contribute anything to the pot as he does not work.
The father feels that she should put the other men in court for maintenance as she did with him after he stopped giving her money for the child.
He feels, too, that she should get someone to help her instead of allowing herself to be used by unemployed men in the district.
