Hit-and-run leaves cyclist nursing wounds

Police are looking for the occupants of a car who struck a cyclist and then fled leaving the vehicle behind.
The incident occurred around 12.45 p.m. yesterday along Lower Westbury Road, St Michael.
Allan Woodall, 55, of Goodland, St Michael, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after he sustained injuries while riding.
Up to press time the extent of Woodall’s injuries was unknown.
Police have taken the car into their custody. (TS)
