I want to thank you for the good advice you are giving people like me who write to your column.
I wrote you once before and you did help me.
I never thought I would have cause to write again in a hurry, but here I am.
In late August, I met a man who is very attracted to any woman who has a good job.
He became attracted to me. He is very loving, romantic and has a sexy look.
Anyhow, at present I am not working and I have bills to pay. Despite all he is to me, this man never asks me how I eat or drink. All he is interested in is sex when he comes to my place. When I do not give it to him he gets mad at me. I think when a man has a woman he should provide for her.
Christine, I love this man deep in my heart and since he says he loves me, he could try to help me in any way possible. It seems all he wants me for is sex.
I feel it is going to end as nothing lasts forever.
I feel I am going to have to give him up sooner or later because I feel I am being used.
Maybe when he sees this letter he will change his attitude.

What will you do if he changes his attitude? Offer him more sex? And, if he does not change his attitude, what will you do?
The truth is you should not wait for him to change. You should change the way you relate to him. In the end, it’s you who must decide whether you are going to be a piece of free meat for this man’s sexual appetite.
It would seem to me that his modus operandi is that he makes love to you and it is your responsibility to foot the bills. Perhaps this was the way it was when you were working, and now that you’re not, he still believes you should do so – wherever you get the money from.
Do you truly believe this man loves you? I don’t!
It’s the sex he’s after. If he truly loves you, he’ll be interested in your total well being. It’s best that you end it now – not sooner or later, and do your best to be financially independent again.
