Parle new senator in St Lucia

CASTRIES, St. Lucia – Former president of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) Berthia Parle has been appointed to serve as a government senator in the St. Lucia Parliament. She was scheduled to be sworn in today at the official opening of Parliament.Current CHTA President Josef Forstmayr has congratulated Parle on her new appointment. Parle, who has been involved in the business of tourism for more than 30 years, is the General Manager of the successful Bay Gardens Hotel and Bay Gardens Inn in St. Lucia.
