G4S lauded by Brathwaite

Lauding G4S as a security company that this country should be proud of, Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite wants to see more private security firms working more closely with the Royal Barbados Police Force.
The Attorney General made this call at the annual awards ceremony and dinner of G4S Security Services at the Plantation Garden Theatre, Saturday night.
“It is my hope that we will see private security companies like yours working more closely with the Royal Barbados Police Force so that your employees will see themselves as an important and essential part of the security apparatus of this country whether on or off duty.
“This would mean that rather than having 1 300 police officers, this country would in essence have 2 500 individuals who have the responsibility for maintaining and protecting our way of life,” he said.
