COME BACK AND TEACH OUR CHILDREN. That was the clear message sent out by more than 500 angry parents of Alexandra School students yesterday after an emotional two-and-a-half-hour meeting.
Alexandra’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) came up with a resolution and signed a petition after a meeting in the school hall that also included teary-eyed pleas from members of the student body for their education to be placed on the front burner.
In addition, the PTA unanimously decided its members would hit the streets if a resolution doesn’t come from the Ministry of Education Wednesday.
Their first march would knock on the doors of the ministry’s Constitution Road offices in protest.
