Organisers of the Holetown Festival Floodlit Tattoo says hard economic times has hit the event, now in its 36th year.
Police, however said there was a record crowd of upwards of 2 500 people attending this year’s event on Trent’s playing field, in St James,
George Ullyett, one of the committee members said last night that a number of sponsors had either cut back or backed out altogether of sponsoring the festival.
But this did not stop the crowds from coming out and enjoying the drill display from the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) Precision Drill team, the RBPF Band and Mounted Branch. (ROG)
