When love can save the day

IF THE SITUATION goes as planned, a certain notorious man may finally get a roof over his head and a warm bed to sleep on.
Word reaching Pudding & Souse is that a damsel, who has been in distress for a long time, has proposed to this man and is willing to put a ring on his finger so that he wouldn’t have to be a nomad is no man’s land.
Some people are asking if this woman is crazy to want to marry this man or if she is in need of intense counselling. This may be the only solution to determine status for this man.
If the wedding is allowed by the authorities, then she would have her name added to the growing list of women who have definitely found love behind closed doors.

Water shame!
A WOMAN who had a hearty laugh at her next door neighbours when their water meter got locked off by Barbados Water Authority personnel should now understand the famous saying “today for me, tomorrow for you”.
But in her case it was not tomorrow but the same day.
Apparently, while she was standing in the road parading about her neighbour’s misfortune, a truck pulled up right in front her home and a man got out with a padlock and proceeded to lock off her pipe too.
She was so shocked and embarrassed that her laugher quickly turned to tears and she begged the man to give her a break because her son was on his way to pay the bill. But the man told her when the bill and reconnection fee were paid, he would return to take the lock off.
Ashamed and embarrassed, she ran into her house and closed all of the windows. She didn’t even look out when somebody loudly asked her if she wanted to catch a bucket of water to bathe with.

Material diverted
WHY ARE BUILDING MATERIAL that are supposed to be used on Government projects being diverted to the private residence of a certain supervisor?
Pudding & Souse understands that the materials, which include sand, stone, blocks and lumber, is being stored under the cellar of the unfinished house.
Some disgruntled workers went up to The Pine to complain about the situation but were turned away. Now everyone is asking why the individual who is building the house is being allowed to get away with such dishonesty – again.
First of all, he is always leaving work to go pimping behind his woman who also works at the same place but who is cheating on him with a young man. He is also authorizing a certain person to receive allowances even though the individual does nothing but sit outside and maliciouses in everybody’s business so that they can carry information to him.
Furthermore, everybody knows by now from his bragging that his discoloured brown teeth are from the many years of smoking marijuana, even on the job. The workers have lost all respect for this man and want him removed ASAP before his corruption causes all of them to lose their jobs.
This is obviously another case of “steel in dey”.

Condoms galore
IS IT TRUE that the authorities of a certain institution are investigating the discovery of several used condoms?
Is it true that fingers are being pointed at a certain individual who has been advocating that condoms be dispensed to the people who are lodging there even though sexual intercourse is not allowed?
The situation has caused major confusion because nobody knows who used the condoms and with whom. It seems that some expensive DNA tests may have to be carried out in order to catch the culprits and the source.
