Noted regional political scientist Professor Neville?Duncan yesterday warned that a second term for any Government in the current global economic setting “is always dicey”.
Speaking to the DAILY NATION on telephone link-up from Jamaica, he further cautioned Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler about engaging in any liberal spending at this time.
He added that the decision that was now to be made by the electorate, in terms of either the incumbent Democratic Labour Party or the Opposition Barbados Labour Party, could really be a choice “between the devil and the deep blue sea”.
But he said he had a lot of confidence in the electorate.
