Police are continuing their investigations into another break-in at the fifth primary school this week just after 2 a.m this morning.
The latest institution is the Gordon Walters Primary school in St. Patrick’s Christ Church. Reports have it that the police were tipped off that burglars were trying to enter the school.
According to Police Inspector David Welch, the police responded and as they were investigating one of the officers sustained an undisclosed injury which Welch said was not a gunshot.
However he said one of the suspects received a gun-shot wound and both the officer and the injured assailant were being treated for their injuries.

This is a developing story.
