IT WAS a day Barbados cricketers would quickly want to forget.
The hosts spilled five catches and Guyana made an encouraging reply on the second day of their fifth round WICB four-day match at Kensington Oval on Saturday.
Responding to Barbados’ 317, the visitors ended on 187 for three.
Narsingh Deonarine, who profited the most, led Guyana’s reply with an unbeaten 63 while fellow left-hander Assad Fudadin weighed in with 62.
Earlier in the day, Shane Dowrich completed the fourth half-century of the Barbados innings before falling for 54.
Barbados, resuming on 227 for four, lost their last six wickets for 90 and were dismissed just before the scheduled lunch interval. (HG)
