Great pretender strikes again

A CERTAIN MAN who behaves as if he is a law unto himself has certainly gone too far this time around with his lying about holding key positions and his antics.
Over the years he has promoted himself as a permanent secretary, a solicitor general and a principal crown counsel, but his colleagues were shocked to discover that recently he even assumed the identity of a magistrate.
It appears that he was involved in a traffic accident and convinced the victim not to call the police, claiming that he was a magistrate and that he would pay up.
When the victim did not receive money promised to repair his vehicle, he went around to almost every magistrate’s court, asking for this individual – only to be told that there was no such person sitting on the bench.
It was only after he reported the matter to the police that the elusive man was eventually tracked down.
But instead of apologizing to the victim for misleading him about his identity, he proceeded to rant and rave and to tell the cops, in his usual arrogant manner, that the money demanded could not even take his wife to dinner.
The amusing scene which took place at the “great pretender’s” office left employees choking with laughter. They want to know how this man, whom they call The Penguin or Jacket because he is always decked out in a three-piece suit, can keep getting away with these bad habits.
First of all, he is seldom at work and when he does turn up, he terrorizes and insults anyone who is in his path.
He takes instructions from no one, approves his own vacation and talks down to his bosses.
Workers want to know why he is still on the payroll even though he has an unenviable work record.

No way to treat your mamma
THERE WAS NO HOLDING back a certain diva when she unleashed a vicious verbal attack on her mother.
Neighbours in the small rural community, where this songstress grew up, could not believe what they were hearing when the young woman, who is known more for her beautiful face and stunning body than for her voice, publicly berated her mother.
Many were saying that she has become too big for her boots and has suddenly forgotten where she came from.
The neighbours are hoping that she realizes her folly and sings a calypso this year apologizing to the woman who brought her into this world and who also spent many days looking after her children when their father ran off and left her.

Standing up for her rights
IT SEEMS THAT ANOTHER female attached to a paramilitary institution is standing up for her rights to fall in love with the forbidden fruit.
Pudding & Souse was reliably informed that an individual representing the forbidden fruit was caught handing her a love letter in which he asked her to wait for him until they can be together.
However, when her superiors informed her that such a relationship would not be allowed in the institution, she reminded them that many women before her had broken down the barriers created by such an archaic rule.

Boss not big on people skills
THE POT may be boiling over for a well-known chef.
Some of his employees are so upset with the way that he and his woman have been treating them that they are all planning to boycott his restaurants.
The workers have discovered that he has not been submitting their National Insurance Scheme (NIS) payments and he has threatened to fire them if they join a trade union.
In addition, they are accusing his woman, who is at the forefront of many of his businesses, of being unprofessional, uncouth and uncaring.
Workers say that while he may know a lot about preparing and cooking food, he is grossly lacking in people-handling skills.
