Prominent entertainer Carl Alff Padmore says he is on the mend after suffering a recent health scare and expects to be “fit and ready” by Crop Over.
Two weeks ago, Padmore, who is best known for his emceeing of national and cultural events, was on the Redman Village, St Thomas stretch heading to Lester Vaughan School for an inter-school singing competition when he felt a sharp pain in his head, neck and left shoulder.
The 39-year-old, who was forced out of limelight for a short period last year with severe back pains after damaging his sciatic nerve, said he did not take any chances.
