PSVs buyers’ club coming

A plan, long in the pipeline, could be seeing actuality at last for the Association of Public Transport Operators (APTO).
APTO interim committee executive member Morris Lee told the DAILY?NATION that the major fuel project, under the auspices of the PSVs Buyers’ Club, would be launched “fairly soon”.
It all comes as a result of yet to be announced changes in the arrangement of fuel supply to public sector vehicle (PSV) owners and operators by the Barbados Transport Board.
“. . . The Government is getting ready to discontinue the operation at the Transport Board with the PSVs.
I don’t want to say very much about that right now; but what I will say is that the PSVs Buyers’ Club will be an all-embracing mechanism involving APTO and all of the PSV operators,” Lee revealed.
