MOST REPREHENSIBLE!
That is how Philip St Hill, Chief of Protocol in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has termed the use of the National Flag of Barbados to cover the pubic area of a nude male on the cover of an international magazine.
The picture of the cover of the magazine titled the Most Beautiful Black Men appeared in yesterday’s WEEKEND NATION, and has stirred up the ire of public officials and people on social media like Facebook. It is reportedly on newsstands in the United States.
While St Hill said the Cabinet Office was the correct agency to respond to such “disgraceful” or “inappropriate” use of national emblems, he still voiced his disgust as Chief of Protocol and a Barbadian.
